The
Legal Management Program
A
Unique Legal Management Solution
Businesses today need quality
management of legal issues and legal service providers. Without
it, they are at risk for a big lawsuit, employee problems,
liability for benefit programs and other serious concerns.
Getting legal management service has become more and more
difficult in the last few decades, particularly for those
companies that do not have the budget for 10 or more "in-house"
lawyers. QuantiLex's Legal Productivity Program is new and
cost-effective way for businesses take control of legal issues
and costs.
How It Works
Step One -- Companies
want to make smart, business decisions about the legal issues
they face. They want to know what issues to address, how
to address them, and when to address them. And of course,
they do not want to overspend. Some have come to us to give
them a business approach to legal issues.
Because this is an important
task, we generally are asked to do an impact study to evaluate
where the business currently stands. We review current relationships
and suggest ways to improve them. We consider whether sufficient
in-house staff is in place, or whether legal issues should
be outsourced more or altogether. We look at which issues
are being addressed and which are not. And so on.
After we present our impact
study, which will generally include a proposal to for QuantiLex
to design a customized Legal Productivity Program to meet
the business's particular legal management needs.
Step Two -- If
engageed to implement their Legal Productivity Program,
we will address the areas determined to be of need, with
the most pressing needs worked on first. Usually more than
one of our primary areas of emphasis are involved -- Business
Succession, Business Transactions, Employee Benefits, Labor
& Employment, and Litigation Risk & Cost Control
-- although specific industries will present other subjects
that need attention.
Step Three --
When the need arises, QuantiLex advisors provide oversight
of legal counsel and other professionals. We do this by
managing the selection, retention, budgeting, staffing and
other aspects of legal and other services. We give our clients
the business savvy they need to make business decisions
about legal matters throughout a case's or project's life-cycle.
We know this to be an important factor in cost-effectively
managing legal issues -- an unmanaged case is an out-of-control
case.
Step Four --
On a regular basis, QuantiLex and the Legal Productivity
Program participant will review performance, exchange feedback,
and adjust the legal management plan for the next period.
This continual dialog helps ensure a quality partnership
with our clients.
The Legal Productivity Program
is both proactive and responsive. The assessment services
are designed to address problems at the front-end -- before
they become costly crises. The oversight services give you
control over the delivery of legal and other services, while
enhancing each professional's ability to deliver good service.
Why It Works
The Legal Productivity Program
is an especially efficient way to manage legal issues. In
fact, our engagements typically result in 10%, 20%, 30% or
more in cost-savings while at the same time increasing the
level of performance of a business's legal and other advisors.
Ask us how our pricing structure allows us to add to your
bottom line while saving you money.
Our objectivity is another important
factor. We have no particular solution to push, we just want
our clients to get good results. Because our compensation
structure is in line with our clients' interests, we are able
to view problems from our clients' perspective. This builds
trust, openness and action.
Lastly, our people make it happen.
You will find us to be creative, thoughtful, and happy --
and genuinely concerned about your success. After all, your
success means we've succeeded.
